  1. ha ha -I remember those days–my eldest son told me that my happy dance hurt his feelings!

  2. Jennifer says:

Summer is over already?? They look so happy! Ha!

  3. Best time of the year! Great pix!

  4. I never liked school starting again because I dreaded all of the homework and school projects that were coming. I didn’t exactly have the kinds of kids that got right to work and didn’t need supervision to get their school work done.

    • I have one that does her work without prodding and one that almost needs an electric cattle prod. I’m not a fan of the projects either – or school lunch making, but they need that extra stimulation. We live rurally, so they get bored when they only get to see friends sporadically over the summer. School comes as a relief to all of us.

  5. I think although most kids wouldn’t admit it…they are glad to get back to school…their friends.. the general winter routine …. Diane

  6. Roar Sweetly says:

They look so grown up now!

  7. Your youngest daughter has quite the sense of humor. Looks like they are happy to head back to school.

  8. Haven’t they grown over the summer – must be the good food and fresh air. Your eldest has really blossomed she looks quite the young lady now.

    • They did grow fast – the tall kid grew 3 inches and seems to be 5 years older. Now she wants to wear make-up. 🙂 Fortunately, the small one still likes to play with toys and will remain small for another year or two.

So, what do you think?
