The silver lining is moving over to the farm and closer to the horses and the garden and having more room to roam. The cloud is the whole moving process.
I’ll be back in a couple of weeks. If I can find my computer by then. And maybe some underwear.

Moving IS the pits. But we got a couple of phone calls last night from out of town friends volunteering to come and help – always welcome. It’ll all come together in the end.

Underwearless, you mean? It’s not usually what I mean by lightly, but you never know what you might lose in a move.
I moved house three months ago and honestly I am still unpacking and organising. It is such a huge job. At least your girls are older and they’ll be a help (not a hindrance like Madame 1 and Master 3 lol). All the best, I look forward to hearing about your moving adventure when you’re back online again!
I hope they will be a help, but honestly I’m not sure they will. At least they won’t require constant supervision. I can put them to work organizing their own rooms.
I’m sure we have a few months of organising ahead of us too.

Good point! I have to admit I’m often in pj’s and don’t have my hair combed when I type things up. But you won’t tell anyone, will you?

Hey my lovely I hope the move goes well and you are settled and happy in a short time. I know what it is like – I last moved a little over 35 years ago and need to now in order to liquidate some cash from my home but I am dreading it – so much stuff I really need to dump but has memories so am really not ready. Just thinking about it scares me – all that stuff to move as well as 4 cats. Oewww!!!
I don’t blame you for dreading it – 35 years in one place can accumlate a lot of stuff in little corners. Good luck with your changes.
